Capone

Labrador Retriever - Senior - Male
Adoptable Large Spayed/NeuteredUp-to-date with routine shotshousetrained

Capone is a black Labrador Retriever mix who is around 10 years old. He is a very calm dog. He likes to follow me around the house but he’s never intrusive. He likes to get pets on the head and cuddles on the bed.

Capone came to me in rough shape but he has recovered now with some loving tenderness, cleaning and medicine. He’s an extremely tolerant dog and is okay with other dogs and children. He has shown zero aggression and the dogs are very very good together.

Tolerates bathing, medication administration, and vet procedures well. He is in good shape for his 10 years, and can walk, do stairs, and climb in the car fine. I think the nicest thing about Capone is very soulful eyes. When he looks at me he makes me feel really special. I can tell he really loves me.

The best thing about an older dog is that he is well behaved and doesn’t gets too crazy. Capone’s favorite thing to do is lay in the same room as his people.

Capone does not tolerate crating well (barks), however he doesn’t really need it. No chewing or destructive behavior while I’m gone. But he tolerates being alone when I’m at work and that’s good. He knows sit, come, and shake. We are working on lay down command. Walks OK but he pulls sometimes (65 lbs). Only behavioral issue is that he counter surfed a few times so now I keep food pushed back from the edge.

Capone is neutured, Up-to-date on vaccinations, HW-negative and is microchipped.
