Cracker Jack

May 24: A NorthStar WI Courtesy Posting:

Cracker Jack(CJ) is looking for a new home. This 5-year old Jack Russell mix is house and crate trained, up to date on vaccinations, neutered and HW negative. He’s about 14lbs. He lives in the Dane/Columbia County, WI area.

He’s dearly loved but with demanding schedules, CJ finds himself kenneled for long hours which makes him pretty lonesome. This, in turn, is causing him separation anxiety.

A work-from-home or retired family where CJ can be a life partner and not left alone for long hours on end would be an ideal home. A family that will appreciate the fun antics and energy of a Jack Russell is an extra special bonus.

He loves having a chew toy or bone available to him. He loves going on walks on trails especially if he can go without a leash, though he does fine on a leash too.

He does not like thunderstorms or fireworks and will whine during those loud times, but does well if he’s in his crate with his bed.

He gets along great with kids and with most dogs with good introductions and supervision. CJ will do best with further obedience training (for connection with the new family), praise and a predictable schedule.

The perfect home for CrackerJack would be a loving home where he will get lots of petting and time outside. He loves the sunshine! The perfect home would also be a family who can be home with him during the days, rather than working.

Cracker Jack will come with vet records, a kennel, leash, and dog food.
